The longest journey starts with a single step
After weeks of looking through analytics and demographic reports, writing proposals and activity strategies, it felt fantastic to finally go and take part in the first fruition of creativity for my new web series project, 2 Girls Kissing.

Scheduling this has been a bitch - finding time between 9-5s, a photographer with an erratic shift pattern, Christmas, holidays and prior engagements. Then we had to deal with all the issues that photographing two girls kissing on a Saturday afternoon at the Southbank Centre presents.
Given the enormity of the project that lies in front of us, it may seem like all kinds of silliness to get so excited (albeit quietly) about a few photographs. But you know what, it’s the same kind of childish excitement I feel when I see websites I’ve designed go live; I’ve done a few of them now and it never gets old.
This shoot has also made me feel incredibly optimistic about progressing with 2GK – this little shoot is the beginning of putting it into the world now, we just need to make it... :)
